Spring 2013 Class Schedule


Class registration will begin Thursday March 21 for Spring 2013 classes

We offer a wide variety of classes ranging from traditional hand techniques to the latest in rotary cutting and machine piecing. Whatever your skill level or interest, we have something you'll enjoy. We pride ourselves on attracting great teachers who bring the best techniques to our students, and our shop staff are available to help you find the right class, and select fabrics and supplies. Clubs

Remember the Ladies Club - NEW in 2013

Our cherished quilting past is revived in a "NEW" club designed by instructor Annemarie Yohnk. She will guide you down a historical path of quilts and stories from times gone by.

Bali Wedding Star

Need help getting re-started on your projects, adding a border to your quilt or other finishing tasks? Come to the UFO day for help, motivation and uninterrupted sewing time.

Volunteer & Quilt for Kids

Participants have a wonderful time at our monthly volunteer event. We can’t believe how much they get done in a day while having a lot of FUN.

Traditional Classes

Applique

Learn techniques for perfect hand appliqué. You will apply needleturn techniques to a quilt, wallhanging or miniature quilt of your choice.

Beginning Quiltmaking

In this course you will make a 9 block sampler wallhanging or small quilt using a variety of by-hand quiltmaking techniques, including piecing, appliqué, curved piecing and finishing methods.

Redwork 101

Redwork was a popular form of stitching from the late 1800s to the mid-1930s. A resurgence if this simple form of embroidery has begun. You are invited to join Annemarie for a relaxing time of fun and stitching.
