Clubs

Our cherished quilting past is revived in a "NEW" club designed by instructor Annemarie Yohnk. She will guide you down a historical path of quilts and stories from times gone by.

Cost: $ 40.00
This club will begin in September and meet on the 3rd Saturday of the month for 9 consecutive months. The focus of the club will be on learning new techniques, finishing your projects, organizing your quilting and having some fun. Registration for Scrap Tamers Club begins Saturday August 20 at 9:30 AM. Sessions meet: 10:00, 11:15 or 1:15.

Machine Classes

How do I start machine quilting? What does stitch in the ditch mean? What is stippling? Learn the answers to these and other questions in this beginner machine quilting class.

This class will teach the fundamentals of rotary cutting and piecing by machine.

Join Susan and Nancy for two days of fun filled sewing! Bring a project already in process or start something new. Susan and Nancy will be working on projects too but will be available for help and advice.

Traditional Classes

Learn techniques for perfect hand applique. You will apply needleturn techniques to a quilt, wallhanging or miniature quilt of your choice.

In this course you will make a 9 block sampler wallhanging or small quilt using a variety of by-hand quiltmaking techniques, including piecing, applique, curved piecing and finishing methods.
