The newest Mystery by Mail kits are all packed up and ready. Once again, we have selected Mystery Kits in 3 fun color combinations. Combination #1 is “Civil War ”, Combination #2 is “Asian” and Combination #3 is “Floral.” Scroll down for more information and pictures of the colorways.

Each kit includes 5/8 yard pieces of 20 assorted Dark prints and 10 Background prints. The kit also includes a 1/3 yard piece of a solid color and 1 yard for binding. In total, there are 20 yards of fabric in the kit. Fabric for the quilt back is not included. The finished size of this Mystery Quilt is 90" x 106", great for a queen size bed.

If you haven't participated in a Mystery-by-Mail before, here's how it works. You begin by ordering the kit in the color combination you like best. The kit will include Clue #1 revealing the first step in making this great scrap-look quilt. Four more clues will be sent to you in the mail, about every 3 weeks. The final clue will include the complete quilt layout and a photo of the finished quilt. All instructions are for rotary cutting and machine piecing.

Combo #1: “Civil War” This kit features a nice selection of Civil War era reproduction fabrics in reds, blacks, blues and browns. The Backgrounds are pretty tan prints and the solid/binding is blue. Kit price: $199.00
Combo #2: “Asian” This unusual combination is a stunning collection of asian inspired prints in browns, teals and greens, many with gold embellishment. The backgrounds are soft cream prints and the solid/binding is a rich brown. Kit price: $196.00
Combo #3: “Floral” This soft kit features pretty florals and patterns in pastel pinks, blues and greens. The Backgrounds are soft florals on cream and the solid/binding is a pretty pink.. Kit price: $195.00
