Friendship Star blocks appear to spin when set in an irish chain layout. You'll need an assortment of 9 Dark prints and 9 Medium prints for this quilt. Remember that “Dark” and “Medium” are relative—your Dark prints could be pastels or brights as long as the Mediums are lighter and and Background is lighter yet! You'll also need an Accent print and a Background print. The Accent should show up against all the other prints you've selected. The pattern includes additional suggestions for making your fabric selections for this quilt.
