You'll have a lot of fun making a variety of mini-blocks for this quilt. The setting gives the illusion of a chain running through the quilt and really makes the pattern sparkle. A great pieced border finishes off the top. You will need 3/4 yard each of 15 assorted prints selected from 3 or 4 color families (vary values somewhat, and keep in mind that these can be dark, bright, pastel or whatever you want). You'll also need 3-1/8 yards of one background print that becomes the block backgrounds and chain. Recommended notions: 2" half-square triangle paper.
