Here’s the perfect opportunity to learn tips and tricks from a master! With some practice you’ll be quilting with small, even stitches. At the first session you’ll be

• Crazy Quilt—Patricia
Cox
Join Pat to learn traditional techniques for assembling a crazy quilt block. Then learn to embellish your block with a variety of embroidery stitches. Pat will focus on by-hand techniques but if you have a machine that does embroidery, you can work with it at home to embellish your block if you wish. Your finished block can be made into a pillow or can be the start of a larger project. Bring to class: an 18" square of muslin for the foundation, scraps or 1/4 yard pieces of at least 6 coordinating fabrics (more is fun). Also bring a basic sewing kit including thread and #9 Crewel/Embroidery needles in addition to basic sewing items. You’ll need a variety of embroidery floss when you’re ready to start your embroidery. Please note that class dates are irregular.
