Dear Customers and Friends,
We’ve been having a fun time working on samples for Kim Diehl’s Simple Whatnots Club. These fun little quilts use her Vintage Farmhouse fabric line that came in earlier this summer. We have the first sample hanging in the shop with kits available. Stop by and check it out!
Susan has been planning projects from the new book Table Please - Part Two from Art to Heart. Between the two books—Part One and Part Two—you could make tablerunners to use throughout the year. How about an autumn table runner from this fun line of halloween prints.
We have some great classes coming along. Learn how to appliqué by machine with an invisible stitch. It almost looks like hand appliqué! Annemarie’s Invisible Machine Appliqué class will be held Tuesday evenings, October 7 & 14, from 6:30 – 8:30.
Have you seen Cheri’s fun Lone Star quilts hanging around the shop? She has some great tips to share in her upcoming class—there are still a couple of spaces available. The class is held on two Saturdays, October 11 & 25, from 10:00 – 1:00.
If you’ve already taken Carole’s basic Featherweight class and would like to dig into the inner workings of your Singer Featherweight 221 machine, join us for Featherweight: Beyond the Basics on Saturday, October 11 from 12:30 – 4:30.
Coupon book holders: You’ll find two October coupons in your book. On October 2 – 4 we’ll have a coupon special on needles—hand or machine. Later in the month, from October 13 – 18, you’ll find a coupon good for a 25% discount on Christmas fabric.
If you’re registered for one of our Mystery Weekend #54 sessions, you should see your supply list in the mail during the first week of October. We’ll also be offering the Mystery #54 quilt as a by mail option. We’ll be mailing out information and swatches to those of you who have expressed an interest in Mystery by Mail around the middle of October.
If you can't make it into the shop and there is something you are interested in, please call us at (612) 724-1079 and we'll be happy to answer any questions about products and take your order over the phone. Or, visit our website at www.gladcreationsquilts.com
